The phrase Hallelujah is one of the best know words in the world. It is spoken the the same way in every language, and it means the same thing—Praise the Lord our God. Hallelujah is the conjunction of two Hebrew words Hallel (Praise God) and Jah (an Old Testament name for God). Putting the words together has become one of the highest forms of verbal praise unto God. This series will explore this word in detail.
