There are few characters in history who have been the object of more rumors than Jesus. Prior to His birth, rumors spread concerning His arrival. At His birth, and throughout His life, rumors surrounded the suspicious origins of His existence. Well, most of the rumors concerning Him are true! Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit. He was born of a virgin. He died on the cross. And He was resurrected from the dead. The word rumor simply means a currently circulating story or report of uncertain or doubtful truth. Before Jesus arrived on the scene, the prophecies concerning him were uncertain. But now that He has come, billions of witnesses can testify that He is Lord of All.
