UPDATE: MAY 30, 2021, 11:45AM

Greetings Covenant Family,

I wanted to send you a personal note to thank you for how you’ve been supporting the church during this pandemic. I am unapologetic in saying that you are the greatest church in the world.

In June, we’ll be getting ready to come back together for our in-person church services. So I’ve prepared the following announcement, which you can watch in the video below.

A couple of important things: Wednesday, June 2, will be our first day back. We will hold our Solemn Assembly Prayer. It’s a soft launch, but I want the church members to come and pray.

I want you to be very comfortable, so all the COVID-19 protocols are in place.

On June 20, we’ll all be coming together for our two Sunday morning services, which will be held at 8am and 11am. It’s going to be a family reunion.

I want everybody in a Covenant Church T-shirt and tennis shoes. When the texts go out, our church leaders will let you know the times that you can get your T-shirts. We’re going to have a great time. We’re going to praise. We’re going to worship. We’re going to celebrate one another. I’m going to preach like I am going out of my mind. It is going to be a great time. And I want you to be there.

Again, all the COVID-19 protocols will be in place. Of course, social distancing will not be a necessity after June 15, as everything is going to be open here in California.

I can’t wait to see you there. Spread the word. I love you. God bless.

— K.R. Woods, The Bishop on a Mission
